Plant Characteristics: Woody perennial grows in all zones, full sun. Silvery-green soft and mellow plant for the medicinal landscape, very pretty and hardy. Bushy shrub growing to 4 feet and spreading 3-4 feet. Will grow in almost any soil as long as there is good drainage. Drought tolerant once established.
Harvest: In summer of second year when in full flower. Cut with pruning shears down to 8 inches.
Primary Benefits: Eliminates worms and stimulates gastric secretions. Gives “Absinthe” liquor its classic flavor.
