 Planting instructions

Feverfew (Tanacetulm parthenium)

   

Plant Characteristics: Perennial. Grows up to 30 inches. Attractive in the flower garden. Tolerates poor soils, thrives is rich soils. Sun to part shade. Deer will no touch it.
Harvest: Tops (leaves and flowers) are harvested just as the flowers are forming. Smaller harvest in first year, large early summer harvest in second year + fall harvest. Replace after second or third year.
Primary Benefits: Alleviate migraine headaches, common headaches, inflammation and stress-related tension. Inhibits the production of prostaglandins that are implicated in inflammation, swelling and PMS.
Caution: Not recommended for pregnant women - it may stimulate the menstrual cycle.
