Plant Characteristics: Herbaceous perennial. Soft feathery and lacy bronze foliage, aromatic, grows to 3 feet in height. Likes sun and well-drained soil. Blooms attract bees and butterflies, keep away evil spirits.
Harvest: Young leaves, green stems, ripe seeds.
Primary Benefits: Aromatic and lovely. Improves digestibility. Fennel tea is given to infants for calming and reducing gas.
